Project Allout

Steel City grit, mutating, seismic bassweight and a laser-focused, attentive penchant for developing local and national prospects alike, Project Allout (known fondly as PAR) are one of the vital driving forces behind the booming UK Bass, Bassline and electronica-etched Grime scenes. Constructed in 2011 by well-regarded scene innovator Skillz, PAR have been behind some of the biggest releases and artists for the past decade; a successful tenure filled with achievement and memorable releases. With a high level of quality control and a knack for breaking top-tier artists, they’ve worked closely with Dubzta, Spooky, Tuff Culture, Notion, Moony, Conducta and more, whilst playing a key role in the journey of many heavyweight, pioneering artists like Skepsis, Deadbeat UK, Dr Oscillator, Moony, Darkzy, Distinkt, Killjoy and Thorpey. A hailed key release from 2020 - Lil Milly’s ‘Bumba Funk’ - was an instant classic, spawning a viral video that entertained thousands, soundtracked by a bubbling furnace of welded bassline pressure. With one game-changing, influential decade already under their belt, PAR look well set to keep upping their progressive mentality on every front.

Review: Delivered almost exactly two years since the original "Big L", Pavv sets the world to rights a brand new 2.0 flex and the message is even gullier, grimier and grittier than before. All weeping, stark and pranged out, this will have your whole dancefloor chewing wasps before then know it. Remix-wise Project Allout do what they do best... Commission a whole variety of twists to cater for every bass kink. Dr Cryptic prescribes a heavy course of bassline stomps and organs, Killjoy chunks up with a classic speed garage beat and metallic twang to the bass, Fiyahman introduces trappy horns and warped FX to the vocal sample while Moony makes us swoon with a fresh set of chords and different, altogether warmer, bass tone. Finally Swedger knocks our block off with kicks so thick they'd make your mum blush.

Hey - (5:27) 130 BPM
Got Something - (5:32) 128 BPM
Humble - (5:17) 134 BPM
Review: The last time we heard from Brighton's' Pavv, it was back in August and he was biggin up the merits of Coke & Rum. Now he's back singing about "22 Shots" which means he's either gotten a bit gangsta in the interim or he's simply a very thirsty lad. There are four serious bassline joints here, highlights including the UKG laser fest "Hey", the zany pitch-play of "Got Something" and the urgent wobble assault of closer "Humble".

BIG L EP
BIG L EPEXCLUSIVE
BIG L - (6:02) 129 BPM Hot
ALWAYS - (5:58) 129 BPM
WHERE TO GO - (5:22) 133 BPM
WHO'S IN CHARGE - (5:24) 133 BPM
Review: Brighton's bass behemoth (in the making), Pavv, has already delivered some heavy vibes on labels such as This Is Bass and U Wot Blud? Now he's back with a sizzling four-tracker. The Big L EP goes hard and fast this time round, with the title being an anthemic, high-octane wobbler. "Always" takes the wobble down to its squelchiest depths, while "Where To Go" is thumpin' sci-fi 4x4 chaos. "Who's In Charge" then provides some lairy grime tropes devastating effect.
