Review: We are big fans of the Proton Music group of labels, and one of the people responsible for kicking the whole thing off (with Proton Radio) is Biologik, who returns a decade on with the release of his 'One Month' album. The production and attention to detail here is second to non, with 15 tracks of progressive house and a sprinkling of downbeat/experimental. Just a few of the highlights for us include; 'Dunes', 'Break Me Down', and 'Firefly', all packed with musicality and depth. This is also a great album to put on in the car (as it would the afterparty)!
Review: Ohh my days!! Collaborations don't come much hotter than the S man himself teaming up with fellow heavy hitter Sidney Sampson. With the very fitting lead vocal line "This is house music", that pretty much sums up the power riff bomb that 'Flashing Lights' is. What with genres and pigeon holes being so last year, the house music legends lay down a peak-time onslaught of the senses and ear drums with rolling percussion, meaty bottom end and a stadium sized lead riff. Whether your a house, trance, electro, or progressive DJ.. This could easily grab tune of the night status. A priceless weapon to be packing in the wallet over the coming months!
