Six tracks in total: the tone and pace is set by the bendy, futurist synths of the title track as we slink, slide and writhe to the greasy minimal funk. Highlights include the strange springy funk and croaks of 'Gravitation', the full-bodied swagger of 'Ha' and the sterner lyrical focus with Fraser on 'Movements'. SMG: Stinking. Murky. Great.

Each cut rippling with soulful prowess but armed with sheer production muscle, this is an exciting snapshot of where dnb is at in 2022 when it's in the right new-gen hands. Highlights include the ultra sexy and slinky halftime flavours on 'Edge', the dreamy breezes and sunny side vibes of 'Summerhus' and the big vocals from Bluey himself on 'Same Mistakes'. Review: Experimentalist by drum and bass persuasion Bennie enters the nether regions of contemporary rave core with the No Better EP. Flanked by Jam Thieves and Bookey, the former keeps it inside with a liquid-esque jungle rhythm amid industrial sound design and fractions of twisted hip hop ("Gyaldem Sugar"). The latter, (Bookey), turns in a melodic and horn-blessed ephemeral banger next to Beanie's own "VVS DIamonds" that sees euphoric crescendos fall into melodically constructed drum and bass workouts. With two EJ Kitto collaborations in-tow all the more - "Toffee" and "No Better" see both artists push at the limits of EDM, experimentalism and cut up drum and bass. Tip: "No Better".

Here are two reminders to help you not forget... 'On The Mark' is a stealthy creeper with a Critical style purr to the bassline and bags of room amid the dark elements leaving plenty of room for Fraser's stern bars to ripple in and out of the mix. Elsewhere we find him VIP-ing the dickens out of his free download from earlier this year 'Gucci'. Chronically good.
