Review: Classic breakbeat vibes abound on Bubu's latest release. Three exemplary lessons in deep, rolling techy grooves, there's a strong whiff of timelessness to each cut. "Rush Out" leads from the front, and comes armed in a robust Evil Nine style coat of armour. "Heliumized" is more your old school Krafty Kuts flavour thanks to its super bouncy mid-range riff, swinging breaks and sizzling drop. "Is There Anyone", meanwhile, finishes the trio with triumph; riding out on a sweet, sharp two step before dropping into a haunting hook and well executed sample use. Watch out for the full bass drop about a minute and a half in... It's the track that keeps on giving.

Review: If this rumbled out of your bedside alarm clock every morning, you'd undoubtedly jump out of bed ready for action. "On The Run" is an aggressive rumbler, all right, with snappy breaks and bowel-rupturing wobble bass straight out of the Deekline handbook. Yet there's more to it than that, not least a delicious, rush-inducing breakdown that offers a strobe-grasping mix of classic rave bleeps and crotch-stirring bliss. Review: With a long line of originals and remixes under his belt, including a recent remix of Meat Katie's "Bizarre Is Beautiful", French electro-breaks head Martopeter comes in even harder with the sinister "Follow The Line". With definite nods to psy-trance, Martopeter keeps things heavy and driving on the low-end, using a squelchy acid bass rumble to lock down the grooves while a renegade sine wave pattern adds tension to the cut-outs and drops. Taking a more funky French electro direction, Bartdon remixes "Follow The Line" into a distortion-fuelled riot.

Review: Russian breaks wizard Breakzhead drops this mighty new track for Raveart - the funky yet epic "Insomnia" - which mixes echoey congas, slowly rising bass hits and sweeping strings into an excellent and jaw-dropping tunes that aimed more at the head than the floor. Exodous' mix which also appears on the release strips things down a little, flitting between thumping verses and filtered-up choruses.
