Review: Culled from his album Sexuality, and produced by Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, "Roche" is typical of the retro soundtrack style of this well-connected Frenchman. The beats that display a slight nod to modern RnB, but the dreamy synths and quivering 'Je T'aime...' style vocals evoke images of the Emmanuelle movies and this song's spiritual home - the 1970s. Meanwhile Breakbot's remix is all perky early Madonna but its Kavinsky's remix, with its melodramatic '80s thriller soundtrack vibes, that wins out here.
