Review: Lowlife and Rogue T link-up on Redrum once again for another murderation session. 'Silent Killers' sets the scene; big screaming basses, writhing between each other like a bowl of snakes and a sledgehammer chorus of crunchy kickdrums. Elsewhere 'Hey Punk' makes us all feel lucky with its heads down driving bassline and early 2000s era Total Science style drop into pure sci-fi on the breakdown, 'Ski Mask' keeps our chops warm with its slinky dark jazz bassline and sheet metal over-lays while 'Dead Man Walking' is all about the bone-shaking mid 2000s jump-up energy. Killing it.

Review: Sound the alarm! Redrum's Horror Series Part has arrived - helping collect all the label's zombies in the one place. Straight out of the ranks is Lowlife & Rogue T who see both highlights from their Who's Your Master EP resurrected next to the sirens, chaotic white noise and gnarly rave stabs of Damageman's Street Fight II inspired "Zangief". Too Greezey steps in with a jungle-flecked "Wasteland" with Mentah getting all slash heavy in "The Garden Of Eden", "Perish" and "I Want To See More". With more frankenstein drum and bass to be found in the Agro, Mentah, Guzi & Dreadnaught collaboration "Trenchfoot" - this is a juggernaut compilation to say the least!

Review: There's nothing better than a wicked collaborative EP, as a bunch of artists bang their heads together and get the most of out each other. That's what's happened here, as Agro, Lowlife, Too Greezey and others are on point for a stripped back, barebones EP. 'Tell Me' rests on a solid percussive foundation, whilst an ambient soundscape is penetrated through by massive basses that feel like zeppelins in the foggy night sky. 'Fight Back' is similar and is moves with a fluency which is simply infectious, whilst things get breaksy on 'The Magic' and tough on 'Funk Doc'. Cool work.

Review: The Redrum crew are locked in once more to the sounds of the UK underground, their relentless focus on pushing hard drum & bass as consistent as ever and this time around their hosts are Lowlife and Rogue T. Kicking it off is 'Fight Back', which has a kung-fu vocal sample focused intro that dissolves onto the drop into a narrow crevice of twisting bass energy, its drums inch perfect at the bottom of the range. 'Tell Me' is similar, with a two-step drum pattern than supports a choppy, aggy arrangement of low frequency sonics. Dark and twisted, just how we like it.

Review: Fresh from flipping us with 'The Switch' earlier this year on Zombie, Damageman and MC J.O.K collide once again. This time on Redrum and it's badman business as usual; J.O.K's unique flow and crystal wit sparks the joint while Damageman's grizzly riff keeps it smoking. 'Zangief', meanwhile, plays all coy and sweet on the intro but the minute J.O.K hints at a future teeth-smashing you just know the filth isn't far-away. Somebody shoot these messengers some gunfingers!

Review: Everything is getting very rough and tumble over on Redrum, as Mentah steps up for four-tracker that moves between varying shades of insanity and intoxication. Title tune 'Perish' is the standout pick of the bunch and absolutely deserves that title spot, as distorted sweeps parry away filtered breaks that tumble off tthe edge of a cliff and into the blackness, the rotting vessel for a fearsome bassline that sweeps in like a wave and recedes like one too. 'I Want To See More' is a straight jump-up influenced roller, 'The Magic' steps and steps through bouncing basslines, and 'The Garden of Eden', packs a wicked funky edge to its darkness. Sick.

Review: This four-track EP from Too Greezey is packed full of twisted sounds for you wrap your noggins around, and there's a sick blend of aesthetics and styles amongst all the filth. 'Strangers' is wobbly and rolling, it packs all of its energy into the sub-bass and just flows out with style. 'Fresh Out The Lab' is a junglist monstrosity of funk and energy, with a superb drum section that packs more character into the arrangement than you can wag a finger at. 'Wastland' is a stripped back, simple number whilst 'Radiation' snaps its way into your head with rhythmic proficiency.
