Review: The fusion of dubstep and reggae is a combination that will naturally work, it's a tried and tested formula, rooted into the historic relationship between genres, which is why this latest Dublaw drop sits so sweetly. We kick off with the softer chiming melodies on 'Simon Says', the cinematic string thrusts of 'No Harm' and the rolling electronic sub bass tones of 'Rockers Riddim'. Next we land into some seriously vibrant digidub as 'Psalms Riddim' combines big room strings with asian plucks and marching drums, before Wolf Selectah joins the party at it's finale on 'Revelations', a robotic twist up, signing the EP out in style.

Review: We appear to be entering a new age for dub music worldwide, with this brand new collaborative project between Dublaw & Sherlock Art, courtesy of the Reggaematic imprint. We are given six tracks of futuristic dub goodness, kicking off with the fantastic 'Big Question', a toasty team up with catchy vocal poetics of Sherlock Art laying perfectly above Dublaw's smooth dubwise production, with the dub cut being just as groovy. Next, the energy levels are increased again as the retro instrumentation of 'What A Sound' arrives, perfect for injecting a dash of energy to the dance, doubled up by its fantastic dub version. We then take dubwise to a new level on the marching snares and charming chord progressions of 'Light It Up', before it's corresponding 'Dub It Up' version follows suit. Excellent stuff!
