Bolivian Sunrise
Bolivian Sunrise - (5:48) 130 BPM Hot
Beleza - (5:42) 124 BPM
Review: Aussie larrikins Andrew Stanley and Matthew Handley aka Yolanda Be Cool, known for their 2010 smash hit "We No Speak Americano" team up with Los Angeleno Dillon Nathaniel here on Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars label for some bass-driven tech house that's aimed squarely at the peak time dancefloor. The result is the latin infused groove of "Bolivian Sunrise", while equally set on the White Isle party season is the punchy, funky attitude of "Beleza" up next. This is not the first time the three of them have teamed up; some of you may remember last year's controversial "Tell Me Why" on Club Sweat.

The Void
The Void - (5:53) 125 BPM Hot
The Void (Marco Faraone remix) - (5:59) 125 BPM
Review: Lee Foss returns on his Repopulate Mars label with a bit of help from producer Ferreck Dawn and vocalist Alex Mills. Dawn has had releases on Defected, Toolroom and Relief, while Mills previously lent Foss her vocal talents back in 2017 on "Haunted". Their new jam is called "The Void" and it's a proper funky house anthem reminiscent of the late '90s glory days. With its infectious bassline and sexy saxophone solo supporting Mills' powerful vocal performance, we're sure you'll be hearing a fair amount of this one in 2021! A remix comes from Uncage main man Marco Faraone who quite surprisingly forgoes the banging techno route and keeps the track's funky groove intact.

Move My Body - (6:08) 128 BPM
Peaches - (6:18) 127 BPM
Review: London duo MANT are a couple of blokes named Andy & Sam who are up next on Repopulate Mars, following up some terrific collaborations with heavyweights such as Solardo, Eli Brown, Biscits and Sonny Fodera. Their next bout of networking is with San Francisco's Kevin Knapp on their new one "Kick It" - a bumping, slinky and sleazy groove for getting down before the peak time. Two more originals follow, in the form of the afterhours minimal bounce of "Move My Body" followed by the tough rolling UK tech house banger "Peaches" which will appeal to fans of fellow Londonders such as Archie Hamiliton, Seb Zito or East End Dubs.

Review: 2020 has certainly shown the world that unless we make the necessary changes to our way of life and save the earth - we may very well have no other option but to Repopulate Mars! And if you think our observations there are 'deep' well.. you'd best get a load of the tracks on 'Repopulate Stars Summer Jams'. Highlights not limited to: the sultry mood music of John Summit & Dead Space's "Dreams", Rone White & Rowen Clark bringing the afterhours minimal funk on "The Whistle", as does Miami's Kristi Yang on "Touch Me With Your Mind" (feat Ms.Chin). Joker (Vintage Culture 'Raw' remix) - (5:25) 127 BPM Hot
Review: Ascendant Brazilian producers Tough Art and Gabe team up for this riveting new offering on the ever reliable Repopulate Mars. It's business as usual as far as label boss Lee Foss is concerned, commissioning these three tough rolling tech house jams, aimed squarely at the main room dancefloor. From the druggy afterhours funk of "Joker", to the sunny open air vibe of "Turntable" and its massive drop - which would go down a treat on The White Isle this summer. Finally, they tap rising homeboy Vintage Culture for a banging rework of the title track, which hammers the message home in true style. Don't sleep on this one!

Andre Salmon, Xavier Iturralde - "Out Here" - (6:20) 129 BPM Hot
Andre Salmon, FreedomB, Steven Joint - "Time On" - (4:43) 130 BPM
Review: Ecuadorian DJ Andre Salmon takes it up a notch with this mega release for top tech house stable Repopulate Mars, following up some great EPs for the likes of Material, Under No Illusion and Sola. The 'I Play Every Nite' EP see's the ascendant producer team up with some studio buddies and the results are terrific. Take the title track for instance: a collaboration with K-Mack that absolutely nails the sound of Lee Foss' label - bouncy, sexy and bright like neon. This is followed by the dusty old school shuffle of "Out Here" featuring homeboy Xavier Iturralde which will hook you with its infectious R'n'B vocals atop. Finally, there's "Time On" featuring Madridillian star Alberto Arranz Barrantes aka FreedomB, which is a full throttle peak time tech house banger - sick!

Review: Michael Bibi is the founder of influential record label Solid Grooves, which is renowned for their parties in London and Ibiza and bringing you hot artists like Carloh, Dateless and Josh Butler in recent times. Making his debut on Repopulate Mars, Bibi delivers the goods once again on the Garden Of Groove EP, featuring the downright dirty and bass-driven title track with its infectious vocal, the ghetto house sampling main room bounce of "Funk Flex"with its raging Reece bassline and an absolutely neon-lit rework of the title track by label head honcho Lee Foss with rising Mancunian Mason Maynard - the glistening arpeggio on this one is absolutely electrifying.

Put Your Number (Mathias Kaden's 'Call Mea remix) - (7:09) 126 BPM
Review: Lee Foss' ever reliable Repopulate Mars label is back with a meeting of two great minds on this EP here: Tring's finest Huxley (No Ideas Original) and London's Jacky (DFTD/Elrow). First up is "The Chaos" which is a tough rolling banger aimed squarely at the main room dancefloor. Equally set on the peak time slot is the dirty and bumping swing of "Rave Dance" and the bass-driven banger that is "Put Your Number" - but we were really feeling Mathias Kaden's 'Call Mea' remix the most. This wicked rework first piqued our interest when we heard it in a recent set by the Fuse London affiliated Archie Hamilton. All you need right here!

Review: We're not sure if Lee Foss runs this operation from the sunny shores of Los Angeles or the barren landscape of the label's namesake - but this latest compilation is sure to bring the summer heat wherever it's played! Repopulate Stars Summer Jams features a who's who of international tech house at present, with a wealth of peak time and main room material not limited to: the ascendant UK star Jacky (with Skapes) on the tough rolling groove of "All My Life", the ghetto house referencing trippy banger by Berliners Mat.Joe that is "Sayhoo", through to rising Spaniard LumaK's gutsy stomper "Papparazzi" and Jay De Lys' infectious and potential anthem "Bad Soul" - which sees the Argentinean in fine form.

Review: Repopulate Mars, the LA-based label headed up by Lee Foss and born out of the nomadic party of the same name, bring us their first compilation album, which features 18 house and tech-house cuts built with one purpose in mind: to get booties moving on dancefloors. Black Girl White Girl, Martin Ikin and Andre Salmon are among the better-known contributors but more undergound names make up most of the tracklist, and the overall mood throughout is fast-paced and energetic, with highlights including Ikin's Donna Allen-sampling 'Serious Talk', Mhod & Federico Ambrosi's phat n' funky 'Groovin' and the robotic techy stomp of Syap's 'Two Fifteen PM'.

Misbehave - (6:16) 125 BPM
Review: Eli Brown has rapidly established himself as an artist of real distinction in the house world, with Of Unsound Mind, ViVA, Toolroom and more all recognising his worth. The Bristolian serves up the riveting peak time stomp of "Wait No More" here, which is another release on Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars which is sure to tear up dancefloors on The White Isle this summer. Second thriller "Misbehave" channels the spirit of early '90s Eurohouse with its huge synth melodies and cheeky rap vocals.

Review: Dirty, druggy swing-fuelled tech house for beach parties on The White Isle and beyond: courtesy of Argentinian producer Jay De Lys (Elrow/Material Series) and British DJ Jamie Roy (Of Unsound Mind/Viva Warriors/Glasgow Underground) on "The Floor" - punchy tech-house with a heap of bounce to rock the house on any occasion. "Pump" is even more adrenalised and fierce with its jacked vocals, funk bassline and pumping rhythms, while "Fever" pushes the threshold even more on this tough rolling groove for the main room at peak-time - there's a killer bassline on this one which is sure to get the hands in the air!

Touch - (6:16) 125 BPM Hot
Review: Via regular releases on such labels as Sola, Defected, Drop Music, Cajual and Glitterbox, Sonny Fodera has established himself as one of the deep house scene's most reliable producers over the last decade. Here, he pops up on Repopulate Mars with two more reasons to be cheerful. Yasmeen provides a strong, delay-laden vocal on opener "Trouble", a chunky peak-time throb-job that sits somewhere between soulful house, driving European tech-house and big room-ready deep house. There's a similarly weighty, low-slung and muscular feel to "Touch", where hissing cymbals, punchy vocal samples and bongo-riffic percussion hits ride a sizeable bassline.

Rain Down (original mix) - (6:33) 125 BPM Hot
Review: The Repopulate Mars label has failed to provide much information about the artist and spoonerism fan behind the Losh Judlow alias, but a quick web search confirms that this is his (or her) debut release. In its original form, "Shake Ya Bahddy" brilliantly joins the dots between the raw weightiness of bass music, the shimmering bounciness of nu-disco and the kaleidoscopic goodness of '80s electrofunk. Happily, the remixes are rather tasty, too. The "Screw Bass Mix" ratchets up the wobble factor to eleven, Maynard Mason opts for a bumping, bass-heavy four-four UK garage vibe and Million Dolla Man wraps raw synth stabs around a bombastic but rolling rhythm track on his standout rework.

Review: CAAL is a producer and DJ with roots from Ibiza and Barcelona, born with the alter ego of a residency in Amnesia - where he has spent the last 10 years sharing lineups with the most important names in electronic music. His need to unleash an artistic vision has given life to productions on major labels such as Suara, Wow! or Baumhaus among others. He's joined by fellow Barcelona homeboy Baum (Paul's Boutique/Elrow) on a stomping release for Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars here on "Mama Drama". With its moody, druggy bounce further accentuated by layers of pitch shifting vocals - this one is perfect to set the mood at sunset on The White Isle this Summer. Bristol's Eli Brown delivers a rolling and adrenalised rendition up next, that's perfect for the peak time. As does rising star Lauren Lane, with her trippy minimal-funk rework that'll go down a treat at the afterhours.

Review: Lee Foss' intention is to Repopulate Mars: ambitious as that is, we're pretty sure he'd turn in a good effort to Repopulate Miami this year - with this bunch of tech house heroes. 2018's fun in the sun is soundtracked by the likes of Bristol's Eli Brown on the tough rolling main room groove of "Cartegena", Verona's Federico Ambrosi with the bumpin' bass driven funk attack "Egypt" and rising UK star Dale Howard (Elrow/Toolroom) with his jacking and adrenalised dancefloor drama as heard on "Naughty Organ". Elsewhere, Malaga's Javi Lopez turns in a fine effort following up releases on top labels like and VIVa Music on the grinding pre-peak time people mover "Vibes Up".

Today's News
Today's News - (7:04) 127 BPM Hot
Give Yourself Up - (6:40) 125 BPM
Review: Lee Foss' label continues to delve into the party end of techno with Today's News. The work of production pair Solardo this two tracker unites disparate elements such as 90s minimal, mainstream house and irreverent samples. All of these ingredients are audible on the title track, where a vocal intoning the line 'bunch of hookers and cocaine" is looped over a groove that boasts the analogue grit of Dan Bell with the good time raucousness of Fatboy Slim. Achieving that balancing act is impressive, and Solardo do it again on "Give Yourself Up". This time they fuse hardcore stabs with diva vocals and a jacking rhythm to create an unforgettable party tune.

Eli Brown - "Make Me Feel" - (6:47) 126 BPM
Andre Salmon, Sammy W, Tobus - "Tobuxx" - (6:32) 128 BPM
Review: The latest chapter in Lee Foss' new label sees him showcase some fast rising talent. DeMarzo's "Dance Naked" is a busy, rolling house track, populated with dark rave riffs, mysterious vocal samples and rolling snares. Next up is Raffa FL's "Loco", which ups the tempo to the sound of a rolling groove and a snaking bass. Once again though, the arranging is complex and a 'loco' vocal sample and tropical musical elements unfold over the tribal, drum-heavy groove. Mirko Di Florio's "Say What" marks a return to a more conventional house sound, but clearly this is a release focused on experimentation, as the hoover bass and chopped up vocals of Pirupa's "Last Minute" demonstrates.

O.M.G. - (6:20) 125 BPM
Magic Stick - (6:34) 124 BPM
Review: Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala aka Camelphat have made their name with releases on Relief and Coyu's Suara, and now take their funky house sound to Lee Foss' recently launched imprint. The title track is a relentless, stab-heavy groove, full of repetitive vocal samples and infectious organ riffs. On "O.M.G.", the pair opt for a tougher sound, with firing percussion and a sleazy, murky bass underpinning a female vocal intoning the track's title that is then filtered repeatedly throughout the arrangement. "Magic Stick" sees Camelphat opt for a more stripped back approach, this time with tonal bleeps and a warm bass providing a backing for a highly suggestive vocal narrative.

Review: Greek breakthrough producer Detlef is back, this time on Lee Foss' Repopulate Mars label with the Swagon EP which follows up some great releases on Relief Records (with Green Velvet, no less), Hot Creations and Moon Harbour. The title track features Ossey James and is an upfront and bouncy groove featuring sampled hip hop vocals and a swing fuelled rhythm. "Pump Up" is much more energetic and aimed squarely at peak time dancefloors with its rolling groove and Joey Beltram style rave sirens. Expect to hear this one a lot on the White Isle this summer! Finally, "My Home" goes for something a bit more deep down and dirty; this sleazy little number will work a treat at a hazy Sunday morning afterhours session just perfectly.

Flavio Acaron - "Matters Of The Soul" - (8:11) 122 BPM

Review: One half of Hot Creations Chicago's Lee Foss sure is a rolling stone. Not content with running the label, there's Hot Natured as well as his other project with MK known as Pleasure State and he's now started another label named after his famed White Isle shindig: Repopulate Mars. In the words of the man himself, its mission is "alien funk for the generation that will repopulate Mars"and we couldn't have thought up a more apt description. 4th Measure Men & Sonny Fodera's "Don't Touch Me When I'm Dancing" is going to be anthem on Ibiza this summer with 'that' bassline and it's deep, sexy and overall sleazy vibe that'll make the walls sweat. The deep and boompty tech house of Eskuche & Nu Sky's "Ninety Nine" is reminiscent of the classic Jamie Jones/Freak 'N Chic sound that's made a comeback due to young guns such as Jey Kurmis while Flavio Acaron's "Matters Of The Soul" is indeed quite soulful with its mild Detroit aesthetic, mainly in the funky acid bassline and emotive strings that has great dancefloor impact.
