Review: You can tell that Greg Gow isn't a newcomer. Apart from the fact that his dance-floor friendly take on house and techno is rooted in a '90s aesthetic, he is also adept at tailoring his music for different hours and moods. "Drone Attack" is ideal for the peak time, its malevolent chords churning and twisting over a series of break downs, while the menacing organ riff that drives "Circuit Failure" sounds inspired by minimal Detroit master Robert Hood. Gow is also a skillful house producer, albeit one who pushes towards the harder end of the spectrum - audible here on the rolling drums of "Day Break" and on "Patch Bay", a tough, techy work out.
