Review: The continuous expansion and growth of the footwork and juke genre-union is doing absolute wonders for the producers within it, with this latest Ripples drop from Invader Spade being an excellent look into the sound as it stands. We begin with a look at the well thought out vocal slices and smooth chord structures of 'More Feels' before 'Nebulous' takes a much more hip-hop influenced approach with well chopped melodic grooves laying atop high energy drum rolls. Next, more sampled goodness as the uplifting plucks and vibrant harmonies of 'Show Some Love' come into play, before the jukey genius of 'Why U Nva Call Me?' with it's pitched up vocal lines see this one out with a fantastic finale.
