Review: If you just look at the track titles here you could be expecting ill-advised John Lennon and Eagles re-edits, but thankfully you'd be wrong! Instead, 'Power To The People' is a meaty slab of contemporary synth-disco, underpinned by a heavyweight bass throb and topped with a plinky-plonk lead line and snatches of spoken (interview) vocal from the aforesaid Fab One. The accompanying Boombass Remix is more energetic and in-your-face, with nods to the rave era, while the EP's completed by 'Tequila Sunrise', a hazy, rolling, guitar- and acid-flecked workout that probably needs to be heard outdoors in the sunshine for full effect.

Review: Still relatively new to the label game, Rollover outta Milan, Italy, follow up their Friends Against Coronavirus fundraiser compilation from earlier this year by debuting Ferrari's Nene EP. Packed with a shiney The Juan Maclean remix, Ferrari channels reinforced disco beats alongside melodic synth action, cowbell percussion and western motifs in its title-track. Funky, subdued basslines take over from the bleepy progression and space pongs of "Dopium", with "Talk" the heaviest bassline of them all, given a slightly thinned out mix by New York disco legend The Juan Maclean. Review: Italian party crew Rollover Milano present their second record, harnessing the vibe of their legendary nights. The Celeste EP sees duo Claudio Brioschi & Cristian Croce aka Boot & Tax (Optimo Trax/Endless Flight) continue to put their unwavering passion for analogue synths and deep knowledge of Italo music to great use. From the dark disco of the title track, to the brooding dancefloor drama of "Tempo" which is sure to have wide crossover appeal, or the slow burning raw techno banger "Vortice" - this fine EP show that there's a lot of diversity in the pair's sonic repertoire. There is also a remix of the title track by Fatnotronic, which goes down a sludgy slo-mo EBM route - nice one!
