Review: Four tracks of disco-house from the refreshingly non-cheesy side of the street here, courtesy of St Petersburg-based Zhenya Boychuk, AKA Boychi. Opener 'Summery' opens with a bassline that's vaguely reminscent of KoT's 'Finally', building via handclaps, rap vocal cut-ups and lounge-y horns into an understated groover that more than lives up to its title. 'Music Carries' is a similarly classy cut with some fine, vintage-sounding trumpet work, 'Rastantsovka' is a more driving affair centred around a hands-in-the-air piano line while finally 'Dances' plays us out with steel drums, chorus'd fem vox and mucho use of the filters.
