Review: Already a veteran of labels such as Cheap Thrills, Bass Clinique and Jalapino, this London based, Birmingham-born producer is back with a new banger, "Feel Good", on Saucy. Recently championed by Rinse FM's Dappa, "Feel Good" is a remarkable fusion of bottom-heavy rolling bassline and melodic disco-house for a total dancefloor bomb. There are three mixes too with AMotion exploring moody, swishy, break-step, Libra going retro piano-garage and Mafia Kiss ending proceedings with some deliciously deep rave sounds.

Richey Profond - "& We Can All Groove" - (5:58) 123 BPM
Jack Swaffer - "Seen This Twice" - (5:33) 124 BPM
Review: The young and fledgling Saucy imprint welcomes house duo Jack Swaffer and Richey Profond to their catalogue for a three-pronged house episode. The duo team up on "Gruff", a totally effective and dubby tech-house joint for ultimate tool usage and dancefloor dusting. Profond goes in solo with "& We Can All Groove", a bumpy old-school house throwback, whereas Swaffer goes all tribal with "Seen This Twice", a percussive driller that'll go down a storm on ye ol' system. Bangers!

Babylon Bass (Negativ remix) - (4:55) 130 BPM
Babylon Bass (Spookz remix) - (4:32) 128 BPM
Review: London's fearsome rave reveller, Spekktrum, doesn't beat around the bush discussing his sound: "I make bassy stuff," he says. Spekktrum doesn'tdilly dally when it comes to production either, and "Babylon Bass" is a straight to the point, wobble-heavy reggae-step jam. For those wanting a little spice, the VIP mix is gets the breaks out for a dubbed-out assault. Elsewhere Dr Cryptic turns the bass to 11 and injects a lethal dose of 4x4 flow. Meanwhile, Negativ delivers a housed-up rework and Spookz closes with a UKF sizzler.

Murder (Jamie George remix) - (4:49) 122 BPM

Review: Birmingham's SPX is really causing a fuss with his unique and refreshing take on bassline music. Murder is his first release since Feelgood back in March. Once again we have one original and a selection of fine remixes. The original is the real highlight here - deep mid-tempo mechanical grooves spiced up with dubby goodness and peppered with some lush arrangements. Remix-wise DevelopMENT adds some seriously nasty bass growls and sparse breaks, Jamie George goes for a more sensual stoned-step angle and Skape end things on huge big room party house tip. Boom!

Review: You don't need to go to the big smoke to hear the latest cutting edge sounds. Don't believe us? Well look no further than the far-flung reaches of Devon for proof. Hailing from Totnes, Libra makes the kind of head-spinning, foot-stepping hybrid house that reconfigures garage into a whole new 21st century form of dance. "Need Your Love" recalls the trippier end of deep 90s vocal house, with cosmic digital sprays and loopy organ riffs. Remix-wise Archive UK takes us into boomy, doomy DnB-meets-dubstep territory, whilst Tickles gives us some moody 2-step with an extra helping of wobble for good measure.

Review: Saucy's ever-tasty tones get tangier by the release. Jackal's heads-down breakbeat swinger is proof. Coming on strong like a Bassbin Twins roller (think earlier noughties, Botchit-style) it's got enough tech and bass beef to satisfy all manner of genres. As have the remixes from Jaquo George (rolling tech) and Pelikann (tripped out warped bass thunder). "Underscore", meanwhile, sees Jackal get sassy on a classic electro b-boy break with sultry vocal samples and a gruff bassline that makes itself known gradually throughout the track. Think a deeper "Doomsnight" and you get the idea. Remix-wise Distinct adds ten tonne of subby flab to the kicks while Libra takes us into bubbly deep house territory. Clearly Jackal and Saucy are not making up the numbers.

Review: UK operation Saucy Record return with a swiftly compiled second volume of Saucy Selections featuring a healthy 17 cuts of Tech, Bass, House and Garage from the international community. Label regulars like Libra (UK), Melod!k, and Spekktrum brush up against Saucy newcomers and there's a pleasant array of styles and sounds to be found within this selection, moving from sultry cuts such as opener "Had Enough" by Chris Skapetis to tougher and rougher bassline movers. Grande's "NOS" playfully toys around the Club Constructions approach to dancefloor tools, whilst Spekktrum is on aggro form with compilation highlight "The Game".

Code Red (Pavv remix) - (5:21) 132 BPM Hot
Code Red (Spookz remix) - (4:02) 130 BPM
Review: Mutant Youth Tickles stretches his long arms into both the UKG and classic acid house for a refreshing take on current sounds. Reducing the tempo and softening the genre's ubiquitous grunty bass tones for something deeper, "Code Red" flexes in both directions in a way that will appeal to DJs on all sides. Remix-wise Pavv brings us back into the 130 territory with a nagging bass hook and a lush, floaty cavalcade of mid-'90s synths while Spookz takes the synth factor back even further to early 90s hardcore vibes, wrapping it around a hollow, echo chamber bass and smashed glass breakbeats.

Fak Off (original mix) - (4:31) 65 BPM
Fak Off (Grande remix) - (3:50) 63 BPM
Review: The UK's Pelikann glides mightily high on the nu-dubstep waves these days, and he's landed firmly on the Saucy clan's catalogue with a fluttering blend of percussion-driven squelchers. "Wolf" is a sludgy, four-to-the-floor monster with plenty of wobbles and grizzly low-ends, and backed by Hywel's more stripped-back version. "Hear Me" is, of course, dark and menacing, and filled with horsepower, but the groove is leaner than its predecessor, leaving the club slashings up to the remixer, Distro. The aptly named "Fak Off" ties things off with deep bursts of power drums and bass stabs, followed by Grande's housier version of the original. Mean.

NOS (Libra remix) - (4:28) 125 BPM
Review: Originally Featured on the second installment of the Saucy Selections compilation series, Grande's arresting anthem "N.O.S." generated a lot of positive attention. Having been supported by the likes of MistaJam, My Nu Leng, Kissy Sell Out, Spekktrum and B-Traits, it's now time for the remixes. Dosage opts for end-of-the-world dub-trap and Inkline delivers some heavy, heavy 4x4 wobble. However it's a photo finish between Libra and the original for who's got the coolest, nastiest, laser-bass attack...and we think its too close to call.

Review: Better known as one-half of Se7en Deadly Breaks, Aaron K is developing a strong reputation for his own solo work too. Saucy Records have certainly clocked this and have signed him up for new tune "Everything". The original sees Joe Peng (frontman of Laid Blak) and K-pop singer Tita Lau electrically combine on this rolling ragga-garage anthem. AK reworks his own track again in the soft and synthier 808 Steppa mix. Last but not least, Kurse closes proceedings with an epic, string-sample-heavy rave-tinged version.

Review: London's Spookz is on a remix tip right now, what with his recent British Are Coming mini remix album and now these five reworks of his wobble-heavy pounder, "What Is This". Joedan is up first, delivering a doomy and sparse techy soundscape, Jonah sticks more to the formula but welds the originals 4x4 wobble to some of the most amazingly menacing bass throbs we've ever heard and Nina Wilde opts for big breaks and some big bass bounce. Sirmo weaves in a little housey swagger and Vitamindevo gets nasty with some muscled-up electro-house vibes.

Review: Nina Wilde is a rising bass star who already owns her hometown of Wolverhampton and is likely bound for great things further afield too. "Adios Amigo" is her latest missive, a lean and mean slice of Latin-themed break-house. "Lights", on the hand, draws on dubstep influences mixed with just the right amount of wobble.

Review: "PPH" is a prime example of progressively minded production that shows how things always move forward in Underground Traffic's world. With boomy dubstep married to housier vibes, the results are a bouncy skipper that, although moody, brings a more ghetto feel the beats. DevelopMENT takes this approach further for a real 4/4 wobble melodic hybrid. Rising stars My Nu Leng are up last with a positively epic bass attack that virtually guarantees stadium-sized pandemonium everywhere.

Negativ - "Infinite" (Archive (UK) remix) - (6:05) 65 BPM
Review: Warsaw duo appear next on UK bass imprint Saucy with their darkside, industrial strength breaks sound. First track "Vision" sounds like Mathew Jonson's "Decompression" if it was remixed by Meat Katie. It's more straight ahead 4/4 stomp on "Infinite" that is, until, it switches back to trippy early morning breaks; one to unleash once they're really in the zone. "Tethys" sees them team up with Dosage and is a more restrained and atmospheric effort, that lets the beats do most of the talking. Finally the Archive remix of "Infinite" is a right monster with furious sub bass and body bashing beats that showcases the extreme side of UK underground music to impressive effect.

Review: Bristol's Fish is back on UK imprint Saucy, presenting some junglist fire on "Calling" keeping the original sprit of '95 alive on this savage and steppin' tribute from the darkside. Timestretched and chopped up amens, hard sub bass and hardcore samples are all there, trust us. There's a bunch of great remixes that stay on the nostalgist tip too: NYC's Doctor Jeep gives the track an absolutely fierce techstep remix reminiscent of old No U-Turn classics from '97. Habitat gives the track a wonky speed garage remix circa '98. But Nottingham's Killjoy gives the track a modern sci-fi urban take reminiscent of Evian Christ which is rather curious. OH91's Blue Alize Touch remix also stays on the modern tip, giving it a nice and sultry deep house remake.

No Stopping Us - (4:27) 131 BPM
Review: Joedan is one of those British artists who can deliver just about anything in the studio, and his productions have taken him from house to garage, and even a little bit of glitchy d&b. "Pacific Swag" is more representative of the former and, in fact, its bass wobbles make it the perfect garage hybrid for 2015 - bound to get more than a few rewinds and some serious movement on the dancefloor. Boy Martel rewires the original into a broken beat mutant, all semi breaks and subbass, while Mij Mack sticks to the garage, but does so in a kind of offbeat, Mr Oizo method. "Approach Riddim" is the oddball tune, a strange tribal dance to the street Gods, and "No Stopping Us" takes us way back to the early 2000's, a time when garage and grime were first infusing, and peeps were pressing dubs all over the shop. Heavy!

"Electronic Music" is no different being a spacey rhythm trip peppered with classic interview clips of ravers in their defiant youth. "Need Your Love" really takes his percussion skills to new heights, with various metallic effects ricocheting off each other in fine style. A real standout however, is Spooky collaboration "House Of Haunted Horrors", which features a mean, dubby groove and an otherworldly breakdown.

Review: London duo Karl Vincent & Tee have a reputation for slaying parties with some serious bass productions. It seems word has reached Saucy Records as they have snapped them up for this new EP featuring three original tracks, a collaboration and a remix. The title track features some pretty hard mechanical tribal action whilst the ominous "Warning" features lots of sinister effects and lasers. "Party Over" marries 2-step beats with some mean wobble vibes and "Dimitri" goes down a slightly lighter garage route. WATSN also appears to add some hyperactive synths and short-of breath rhythms for his remarkable remix.

Review: Occupational therapy: Birmingham badman developMENT delivers two gully strutters for the bass house cognoscenti. "My Occupation" ignites with a dizzying blend of musical references before leaning back on classic garage keys and eventually leaping forward with his trademark sludgy low end riffage. "Dem Boy Sound" eschews the silky keys for a much darker romp that's dented with MC samples. Heavyweight.

Review: West Midlands' finest, Pelikann is back with his third release for Saucy, a self-proclaimed 'face melter of an EP' called Jupiter. It features three new original tracks and extra mixes. Things begin with the remarkable a sinister title track - a twisted fanfare featuring a nervous gasping recurring sound. Elsewhere we get slinky bass and punky beats on Tri3e and Underground Traffic's mixes. The monstrous "Godzilla" is followed by the viscous "Tight" and "R.P.A.F.A." which brings unexpectedly precise grime vibe to the EP. Further shout outs go to Pelikann's own VIP mixing skills and the jagged bass of WATSN's version.

Review: Saucy have dubbed Dosage as being 'one of the most technically gifted blossoming producers the UK has to offer' and they're not wrong. Here we get to find out, starting with the celebratory fizz of the totally funky disco-house jam "Panama Peppers". The latter quickly gets disfigured for life by evil genius Kursa who brings some scary bass fire to the tune. "Reaper" continues the dark vibes with more of a dubby ghetto sound which is turned into a sleazy after-hours classic by Echoes & Knight. Finally Dosage teams up with Ricin for the harder bass and breaks attack of "Ishmael".

It's over a year since Vol 2, but the Saucy crew are back bringing serious fiyah over 22 fresh new jams. As usual, the quality is never compromised, particularly on such standouts as the mercilessly pounding, RnB sampling "You Better Know" by Libra, the futuristic 2-step synth stabs of "Eyes On You" by Jello and the dry warehouse beats and buzzy bass bounce of "People Dem Dance" by Lucent & Karl Vincent.

Review: Before delivering the promised 'arsenal of dutty new tunes for all you functioning bass addicts' next year, fledging bass label Saucy round up this one with a selection of all their best stuff from their sophomore year. There are a whopping 24 tracks to get your teeth into, highlights of which include the insanely catchy moody pop of opener "Summer Rain" by Inkline, the slamming garage/house of "Don't Stop (Jack Swaffer remix)" by Mike Jones and the eccentric beats and creeped out sounds of the "House Of Haunted Horrors" by Spooky and Spekktrum. What a label, what a year!

Review: Formerly known as Magistrate, this artist has now adopted the Talkre moniker to promote an altogether darker proposition. The Conflicts EP boast three choice cuts, each with their own angles on bass: the title track is laced in gothic synths, doom vocals and morbid DnB influenced drum patterns. Elsewhere "Afraid" explores nasty, techno infused breaks and "New Order" wraps things up nicely with its bouncy blend of big beat and garage beats.

Review: Pelikann (aka Jack MackMersh) is a West Midlands producer who is currently taking the UK's bass scene on an epic journey via his fearless genre-hopping approach. This, his latest release on Saucy, boasts three originals and some remixes too. The title track is mega hyped ghetto breaks with super melodic synthy fizz, "Badboy Sound" is all about the relentless subby fuzz-stabs (given a demented percussive makeover by Affiliate) and "Calm It" incorporates a nasty bass hum into a breaky bounce-a-thon. Rho reworks the latter into a super-fast DnB jam whilst "Spectre" becomes a jungle snarler thanks to Data 3.

Review: Its madness at Saucy HQ right now (so business as usual then!) with this strong new EP from relative newbie, Tru Fonix. The original "LO" is a perky, rolling garage jam with moody tropical undertones, whilst Chee's remix sounds like the tune being slowly fed through a rusty mangle. "Permutation" brings true fire though with its forward thrinking synthy stabs and four to the floor beats - a real sizzler. Culprit then joins TF for the deep and fizzy tech-house joint "Solarized" before Klax unleashes some heavy dubstep-flecked wrath on his version. Fierce sounds.

The original rolls very much like an old Hybrid cut while the VIP uses the same vibrant intro before plunging us into a lake of gully. Ghoul (original mix) - (4:28) 125 BPM
Review: The Saucy imprint is on its way to establishing itself as a new source of quality, reliable bass music for the corner dwellers aka dubstep aficionados aka bassboys. Hot Goods debuts on the label with a bunch of direct, straight-up bruisers made for the dancefloor, and "1944" acts like the first missile shot in what quickly transforms into a rather menacing dance EP; WATSN's remix of the tune bridges the gap between techno, dubstep and electro house in a rather excellent manner. "Shogun" adds a little garage flavor to the producer's clearly audible grime fascination, whereas "Ghoul" heads straight for the tech-house formula with its steely percussion roll, and highly stripped back bass bumps.

Review: Fresh from a little gully foolery on Stanton Warriors' Punks, Midnight Phulin steps over to Saucy with another out-and-out club thumper. Chunky kicks and bellowing bass complete with mic damage from Tyler Clacey, there's a real grimy momentum throughout. Remix-wise Barely Royal & Bunnie flip the switch as they ride from soothing wavey intro to a gritty two-step and back again, Revaux provides the essential 170 switch up while Tall Order supersize the chunk with a real cheek-slapping house twist. One killer original, three ace diversions - Saucy continue to smash it.

Review: Underground Traffic is back and serves up a fab new EP entitled 'Neil Didn't Help'. The title track kicks the EP off with attitude and some serious wonk slicing through a solid, UK bassline inspired beat. Next up 'Rival' is a serious bumper that gets that Will Clarke style bassy electro vibe happneing but on steroids. Finally 'Dangerous' lives up to its name as the label themselves best desribe "when this is dropped in the rave feet will be stomping, too much of this will definitely be dangerous for the ceiling below if played on the top floor!" They don't know why Neil didn't help.... Oh well... no-one likes Neil anyway.

Review: We're willing to beat that Khesis's DJ sets are energy-packed spectacles that appeal to those who like their dance music choppy, thrusting and bass-heavy. That's certainly what the young Hungarian producer delivers on this all-action EP for Saucy. Opener "Shards" sees him add woozy stabs and fuzzy background samples to a metallic, UK-funky influenced rhythm track, while "Slingshot" is a post-dubstep roller full of intergalactic electronics and alien motifs. Two-step UK garage beats provide the foundation for bass-heavy shuffler "Real Strong", before saucer-eyed vocal samples and dreamy chords come to the fore on the thrillingly low-slung "Nothing Lost".

Atmospheric and arresting, it's tailored for the big rooms Negativ are destined for. If you're after more of a dank, cavernous prang stepper vibe then jump straight on the dancehall-damaging "Vantage" and watch out for the rasping, alien bass textures on the drop. Positively banging,
