Review: Euan Colston may be a new artist, but his first EP for Section15 shows that he has already achieved a high standard. The title track, with its distorted kicks and off-centre rhythm, provides the basis for wave upon wave of menacing electronic tones. By contrast, "C13H16CINO" is a pile-driving acid banger, while on "Dugs", Colston delivers a more stripped banger that resounds to pulverising kick drums and repetitive vocal stabs. Meanwhile "Sunday" sees the upcoming Scottish producer drop a linear techno track underpinned by malevolent, coruscating riffs. It rounds off his debut release for Section 15 in style.
