Review: The Silver Bear team have absolutely outdone themselves with this next project, which sees Wayward unleash the full range of his production capabilities over the course of forty-three minutes with his brand new album 'Waiting For The World'. This is a phenomenal display in delicacy and precision, whilst also sounding immeasurably organic in its design, from the classic breakbeat elements of 'Back To The Old Days' and 'Ridge Road', to the more futuristic tech-influenced adventures of 'Canvey Island' and the stunning soundscaping displays of 'Thirty Three'. It's a masterful display of confident sonic creation, with our particular highlights being the truly breathtaking harmonic layerings of 'Jill', the dancefloor ready melodic flicks of 'Casper (Part 2)' and of course the untouchable twists and turns of the title track 'Waiting For The World'. Awesome stuff!

Review: For the curious out there we recommend Kilig, an emerging artist bringing a deep and melodic sound that dips into new age and ambient themes within a house and techno framework intersected by the syncopated rhythms and percussion of a post-dubstep tip. Fall into the rain-chimes and skipping beats of "Z" or the liquid progressions and tug-of-war synths in "Chemical Friends". "Not For You" finds itself in an uplifting, broken beat and inspired mood caressed by soft spoken word and sibilance. And at an instrumental best, all-things-Kilig coalesce to a complete whole in the title track: "Blue Coat, Red Dress".

Review: Earlier in his career, there was a fair amount of hype surrounding O'Flynn's hard-to-pigeonhole club cuts, with the producer's outings on Blip Discs and Ninja Tune getting particular attention. Here he delivers his debut album, a wonderfully fluid, evocative and enjoyable set that attractively sashays between languid ambience, Afro and Latin-influenced cut-up club cuts that cannily fuse disco, nu-disco and deep house, drum dubs and percussion jams, and off-kilter affairs that defy simplistic categorization. Highlights are plentiful throughout, from the dreamy dub disco flex of "Tru Dancing" and jazzy deep house warmth of "Painted Wolf", to the huggable dreaminess of two-step shuffler "Celestial" and the loved-up haziness of enveloping closing cut "Neptune".
