Review: After a few Eps on his own label, Benjamin Vigneron aka Vronsky experiences his first foray on another imprint. Based on the unusual, distinctive approach that he takes on Listening Blue #1, rest assured that we'll be hearing a lot more from him in the future. On "Boucle01#", he goes for the jugular with chiming chords supported by a cavernous kick, while on "Hospital08#", Vigneron fuses hollowed out claps with buckled drums and a hazy electronic riff that rises subtlety through the arrangement. Keeping up the experimentation to the end, "Channel Basic", sees him borrow from 90s minimalism to create a stripped back, metallic groove that resounds to squelchy frequencies and repetitive riffs.

Review: Pascual is a new producer and Sino deserves plaudits for providing him with the platform to showcase his work. Focused on the dance floor, this four-track EP moves from the densely layered textures and spacey filters of "Spatial" into the high-paced "Existential". Deeper but still focused on the dance floor, it sees Pascual unravel a hypnotic, sleek groove. "Logical" is more stripped back, with this emerging artist engaging in a tweaked, acid-soaked workout. Rounding off Pascual's impressive debut on Sino is "Bodily". Upping the tempo, he drops a linear, steely rhythm that will appeal to fans of Marcel Dettmann and Rodhad,

Review: Benales is Benjamin Morales, an upcoming French producer whose latest release comes via the Sino label. "Element 7" is straight down the line, stab-heavy techno and sounds like Sino's former owners, Technasia, or Sterac in heavy mode. "Element 8" sees Morales strip his sound back to deliver a percussive tool that resounds to firing hats and rolling snares, while "Element 9" is in a similar, slightly more pacey vein, as a pounding bass accompanying shards of itchy, twitchy percussion. Finally, there's the clanging, metallic groove of "Element 10", which recalls the steely 90s techno sound of German producer Ian Pooley.

Review: Technasia's techno imprint, Sino, launches its Bension series with a two tracker of energetic, relentless techno from Dosem & Technasia. The Catalonia based duo kick off with "Northern Response," a driving progressive anthem that is sure to tear up any of the big rooms it booms out over this summer. On the flip, "Aries" takes it deeper but still insists on keeping the beat pounding and the percussion building towards those all encompassing, post-breakdown drops.
