Review: More remix hits from the Smalltown Supersound machine that is Prins Thomas, master engineer over there in Norway. The man in mention plies his hand to two Yoshinori Hayashi numbers taken from the artist's 2018 Ambivalent album. What can we say, a sweet kick drum creams an already huge mix in "0208", while falling keys and mirrored pianos play the motif over the interstellar bassline and progressions of "Bit Of Garden". Pumping tones and a dub sensation of electronics have a time of their life too with the ringing vibraphones of "Geckos" and the cosmic exotica of Bjorn Torske's remake.

Review: Following the I Wanted More release on Aus this summer, rRoxymore delivers this album for Smalltown Supersound. Spread across four tracks, Perpetual Now sees the Berlin-based producer focus on a largely experimental approach. "At The Crest" moves from glitchy dreaminess into an angular, minimal house groove, while the title track features an ambient intro before descending into a banging, noisy electro workout. In contrast, "Sun In C" gives full vent to rRoxymore's esoteric leanings, as she unleashes a cacophony of high-pitched frequencies and tones, while "Water Stains" stays in the same lane, as metallic ticks and whirrs are combined with dubbed out bass to create an epic, 15-minute sonic voyage.
