Sonic Cathedral began life as a one-off club night in October 2004, celebrating shoegaze and all of its influences and inspirations. Such was the demand, the night soon became a staple in London and beyond before growing into a label a couple years later. Over the two decades since it has played a big part in helping to repopularise this once much-maligned genre with a steady stream of releases by scene that celebrates itself legends (Andy Bell, Emma Anderson, Neil Halstead) and newcomers (Whitelands, deary, bdrmm) alike.
