Review: London DJ/producer and mastering engineer Mike Millrain was heavily involved in the UK garage scene back in the late 90's as one of the main artists in Nice 'N' Ripe/FX Promotions. He was also a member of Mike Skinner's project The Streets until it's dissolution in 2011. Having set up his own label Soul Revolution Records in 2014, Mike continues to produce and release underground house & garage. He is back on his respected imprint with the soulful late night vocal house gem "I Can Show You". This is followed up by a terrific remix by Soul Divide which gets tough rolling and funky, and another one by Millrain himself in the form of a handy MM Bassline Dub.

Too Much (Mike Millrain remix) - (7:21) 124 BPM
Review: Ever since their last release, we've been preoccupied with what really does do go on deep within the mind of a dragon. It turns out that beneath all the scales and firey breath they tend to think a lot about holidaying in Ayia Napa circa 2001. Wonder if Saint George knew this. Anyway, "Too Much" is a delicious mix of catchy distant vocals snippets and perky 130bpm beats and warm, undulating bass waves. Remix-wise Mike Millrain brings the '90s house fire - all slammin' New York garage vibes and closer than close synthy goodness. Summer is officially here!
