Review: Unleash the stash! Berlin badboy Smuggler makes himself known to the wider world with this absolutely venomous four track debut EP on Jaydan's SR2. "Unpaid" takes the lead with a brazen textured horn bassline before "Jewels" glitters and sparkles with a high frequency twisted bass riff. Elsewhere "Dogs" barks back 10 years to the sound Taxman and Original Sin made their own in the 2000s while "Stand Up" seal the deal and leaves us wanting more with its evocative synth intro and laid back spacious froggy bassline and switchy kicks that give the tune a real funk and flow. A highly accomplished debut release; Smuggler's packing some serious loot right here.
