Review: Step2 Dark have delivered a joyous 2-track experience with this latest drop from AK92, which sees a more delicate exploration of both 4x4 themes and UK-garage inspired arrangements, leading us down a dancefloor-driven road. We begin with 'Paradise', a typically euphoric dip into tidy 2-step rhythms and simplistic yet potent sublines, rounded off by syncopated horn toots and catchy vocal riffs. On the flip side to this, the organs come out to play as 'Bumpa' draws us towards a much more broken-beat style arrangement, filled to the brim with choppy drum work and sharp snare processing, giving us a nice sense of variation across both featured tracks.
