Glide
Glide - (6:30) 123 BPM
Tada - (7:48) 127 BPM Hot
Review: French label Stereofly serve up two prog-tinged minimal cuts from label regular Bimma. 'Glide' itself sits pretty happily under the 'minimal' banner but is both faster-paced and sonically busier than such a description might lead you to assume, with an ominous bass drone and crisp beats underpinning an understated acid line while other, chirpy synth sounds flutter away at the top end. A similarly hefty synth bassline provides the backbone of the accompanying 'Tada', which starts out in minimal territory but slowly morphs into an ever-evolving synth epic of the kind favoured by Messrs Digweed, Cattaneo et al.

Played by: The Golden Toyz
Review: Italian producer Golden Toyz drops a venomous electro-tech banger in the shape of "In Your Houze", sporting some rattling distortion leads and some old-school trance bass gurgles over a 130bpm beat. More measured remixes come via Blusterbat & Wazzup's piano-led remix, as well as Byssus & Leandro's Latin mainroom makeover.

The Indbassion
Indbassion - (4:30) 129 BPM Hot
Shot Me - (4:43) 129 BPM
Bubble Up - (4:46) 129 BPM
Strange Sight - (3:56) 132 BPM
Review: This four-tracker shows that some new school minimal producers are adept at exploring diverse sounds and styles. The title track is rooted in the tool house sound, its rolling tribal rhythms featuring a sensuous, breathy vocal. By contrast, "Shot Me" is noisier and its distorted beats mean that it comes across like a more visceral take on electro house. "Strange Sight" takes the upfront, banging approach to its logical conclusion and sees Ind FX embrace the kind of rough and raw techno that would make Inigo Kennedy proud. Finally, "Bubble Up" offers a more imaginative approach, as the sound of bubbling water is fused with a howling analogue workout.
