Review: Trumpet-tooting anthem machine Foxx teams up with Tom Piper and frontgal-du-jour Ayah Marar for a show-stopping slice of bass-flexed house. Chugging with a speed garage signature, the balance between the muscular groove and Ayah's call to action vocals is kept in check throughout. Remix-wise the hotly tipped Cause & Affect retain the UKG flavour with a deeper, darker rendition. Both versions absolutely kill it, Foxx and Piper have created a summer 2014 anthem right here.

Review: Over the years, many a remixer has tackled CLS's monolithic 1991 dance monster "Can You Feel It". The latest outfit attempting to scale the dizzying heights of this now rite-of-dance-music-passage is Prok & Fitch. The boys have done good too, taking over six minutes to work their magic - slowly building up looping white isle friendly bass and teasing with glimpses of the iconic keyboard riff of the original. Eventually (about halfway through) we get the vocals and that killer riff in full and, from then on in, it's peak time delirium!

Review: Forty one years old and The Beginning Of The End's afro funk anthem "Funky Nassau" continues to influence artists and dancefloors alike. Here we find Italian stallion Scavo adding some serious jack juice to the distinctive horn hook. Review: There will certainly be a lot of hype surround Wookie's recruitment of mockney popette Eliza Doolittle for his latest banger. No expense has been spared either as they've commissioned a whopping six mixes to accompany the release. The original is a classy rolling number, with jazzy pianos and everything. Elsewhere we get killer carnival vibes ("Wookie Dub"), bonkers hyperactive DnB ("Danny Byrd mix"), euphoric tranceyness ("Wideboys Club mix") and slick, restrained house ("Blue Slims remix"). It's a winner!

Review: Taking a well-known Minnie Ripperton vocal (as famed on Jean Jacques Smoothie's 12 year old "2 People"), Leeds duo Magic Eye roll out a sonic carpet weaved of the thickest, most soulful shag. Underpinned by warm subs and an infectious jacking groove, it's a fine example of how to update an evergreen sample. Remix-wise Mike Mago injects a dose of big room flavour by way of timeless key stabs, a bold bass hook and super-chugged techy beats. Wolfman and Wells' remix continues the bass motif but does so with a more garage-minded drum arrangement. One incredible, untiring vocal, three killer versions; Strictly have this one nailed.

Review: Out-and-out house classic "Disco's Revenge" has been given a series of hardcore EDM steroids right here, as German duo Miami Rockers bring Gusto's 1995 bomb bang up to date. Keeping Harvey Mason's "Groovin You" sample, but very little else these new versions are nothing but peak time electro damagers. "Disco's Revenge": a disc best served hot!
