Review: This is a proper dubstep release coming for your ears from Sub Audio, as they've gone down the always entertaining route of having two remixers do a rework of each track on a single. The originals this time around are from Soukah, who has crafted up two stunners. The first, Life Without Meaning' is built upon a gentle rise, a moonlit walk, up the mountains and into a world of fireflies and celestial arpeggios. It's a seriously vibey tune and it's done justice by Kodama on the remix, who stretches things out and gives it all that extra oomph in the kick drums. 'You Can Run Much Faster' is equally spooky, with eerie ambience coming from its whispered sample and stretched out piano notes, a vibe taken to extremes on Ourman's awesome, loping remix. Top work from the Sub Audio crew.

Review: Sub Audio return for another high quality outing here as they employ the services of Ourman, who touches down here with a backpack full of vibrant dubstep heat. We take up our journey with a look into the masterful drum work and rolling sublines of 'Commotion', closely followed by 'Echo' which hurtles into view with an array of haunted energies and dubbed out percussive brilliance. Next up the super groovy bass synth warbles of 'Spins' provide some unique, crunchy themes before we close the lid on this one with a butcher at 'Rule', a stunning piece of steppers production, perfect for the late night drives.

Review: As a label and musical platform, we have been following Sub Audio with keen eyes as they move forward into 2019. This EP is a perfect showcase of the levels they are currently able to function, bringing through the incredibly eerie sounds of Gnischrew, who kicks us off by combining dubwise chord patterns and snarling bass tones with subtle woodwind expressions on 'Transmission Failure'. The B-side takes a more emotive route, focussing on uplifting lead horn melodies and smooth piano lines on 'Fluid Foundation', giving us two highly contrasting but complimentary originals.
