Review: When the SubCarbon boys pulled Eater in for a brand new four tracker, I doubt even they knew what level of monster they had potentially unleashed, as we explore volatile four tracker, diving into the darkest and dingiest realms of the dubstep sphere. First up, the title track 'Invader' sends sound systems into an absolute slugfest as bulbous, reesey bass squelches run riot, before the scattergun synth lines and eerie vocal interludes of 'Annihilation' send us somewhere completely different. Next, an even more abstract approach as 'Trial' fuses blippy percussive pops and groovy metallic slaps to create a truly unique soundscape, with 'Extinction' then giving us another reese-driven warbler to round the EP out with a bang.
