Review: Dark, eclectic and emotive, Suruba X will be dedicated to release the darkest shades of house and techno music. Next up for the label is Bizen Lopez from Palma de Mallorca who serves up the great Fall Of Madness EP. Starting off with the tough and rolling tech house of "Suburbia" which sits somewhere between the rolling party vibes of Knee Deep In Sound and the raw power of Drumcode, he's then into something slinky and darker and more suited to the afterhours on the nefarious title track. The closer "Pumping Feelings' sure doesn't leave much to the imagination: this driving and adrenalised people mover fetaurel tough drums and druggy elements which is a perfect tool to lead into the peak time and features an absolutely massive drop that has to heard!
Review: Madrid's Dennis Cruz has released previously on Snatch!, Saved, Stereo Productions, Material, Deeperfect, Glasgow Underground.. need we say more? He is back on Suruba with "Bad Behaviour", a deep rolling and booming main groove groove featuring a sampled dialogue elaborating on the perils of our daily vices! "Shake It" features a bangin' and funky tech house workout after that massive drop; wait 'til you hear this! Finally "Mr Fox" appears twice; the original version is a brooding and muscular pre-peak time weapon that will appeal to fans of Carlo Lio or Julian Jeweil while the remix by Siopsis afterwards takes the track down more of a deeper progressive house route, which is an epic journey indeed.
