Review: RadialGaze landed on the Thisbe Recordings label initially back in April 2021. 18 or so months later and St-Petersburg-based brothers, Andrey - the electronic musician and producer - along with Stas - the sound designer, guitarist, and theatre director - are back with some brilliantly fresh club cuts. Their slow techno, ethnic-infused electro and percussive layers all combine to thrilling effect. 'Black Salto' opens with urgent melodic loops over stomping tech house drums, the title track rides on intoxicating Middle Eastern melodies and 'Shruti & Sheila' gets freaky on melon-mangling synth lines. Three flip-side remixes seal this great deal.

Review: Pyrame's Berlin-based indie-electronic music label THISBE Recordings 'is an auditorium where the voices of house and techno music are being heard'. The label's next release comes from local producer and label staple Semodi aka Knicklicht titled "Oh Boy", a saucer-eyed and bittersweet expression in dancefloor drama on which Antigone's powerful vocal delivery tugs ever more on the heartstrings. Sure to peak the energy levels next is the melodic minimal techno epic "Into Deep" powered by a roaring arpeggio bass which plays centre stage and then comes the remixes. Melokind and Nico Pusch feature, but it's all about Mexico's Theus Mago (Duro) and his perspective of "Next Summer" (feat Mailys) which ventures into typically dark disco territory, yet on a tribal tip.
