Review: It's been a while since Boris Bunnik donned his Hexagon pseudonym - normally he can be found crafting Detroit-inspired electro as Versalife. That said, Information Paradox makes it clear that Bunnik is just as comfortable making slow tempo tracks as he is reinventing Motor City blueprints. Both "Unruh Radiation" and "Cauchy Horizons" are wonderfully moody pieces of head-nodding electro - with ominous basslines at their centre - while he strays into more abstract territory on the menacing "Thermodynamics". However, where Information Paradox really impresses is on the mood pieces. "Oscillate" and "Geodesics" are ethereal ambient compositions, while "Schwarzschild Radius" and "Space Tunnelling Through The Barrier" are the kind of deep space soundtracks that will appeal to Dopplereffekt fans.
