Review: From the same label that recently released material by techno lifer Dan Curtin comes Dunn. The work of a mysterious artist who has only put out one other record, it treads a fine line between esoteric sounds and earthy grooves. The title track is a rough, rolling acid track, undercut by a malevolent bass and featuring eerie vocal samples. "Satan's Monopoly" is a slower, percussive groove with ticking percussion, while at the other end of the spectrum, "Piter De Vries" sees dreamy, eerie atmospherics mixed with pulsing acid lines. Rounding out the release is a tough, drum-heavy take on the title track by the ever-consistent Roman Flugel.
