Review: We land here on Trusik recordings for a fantastic combination of soundscaped brilliance and dubwise delight as BHED lays down a tasty three track selection for our ears to enjoy. Kicking off firstly with 'Eighteenhundred', an ethereal display of shimmering pads and crunchy percussive clunks, followed by the unpredictable drumwork and hypnotic delays of 'Apatheia'. Finally, we round off this sumptuous body of work with a dive into 'East', a super clean look into modern dub music at its finest, driven by more haunted atmospheric layers and steady chord progressions above a potent subline. Delicious!

Review: We are back inside the Trusik Recordings camp with this one as they bring forward the rapidly rising sounds of City1 to the fray, who arrives with a bag of serious dubstep heat. We kick off with a look at 'Bega', a Terminator style shack-out, driven by pulsating, gabba-esc bass stabs, slowly establishing more typical dubstep rhythms and sounds. The title track 'Buluu' follows in a more stripped back nature, focussing more on expressive sub patterns and vibrant, colourful atmospherics, before we dive into the final track 'Cosmic Chant'. This one is a super spooky creation, driven by tingling synthy melodies and haunted sub pressure below, putting the finishing touches on a very well produced body of work.

Review: If you are looking for a slice of dubstep delight then we feel you need not ever look further than the latest Zygos release, who here teams up with Teffa for three originals that pack a serious slap. We begin our delvings into this project with a sampling of 'Direkt', a seriously gnarly piece of sound design, housing a seriously cool lead synth sound that busts its way through pounding sub textures and sharp drums. Zygos then steps out solo following this as he gets involved with the more organic drum structures or 'Run Down', which uses squelchy percussion to create a seriously unique feel, before we round of in style with this blistering LFO pressure of the title track ' Drained'.

Review: It's time to enter into depths unknown here as we join Pugilist and the Trusik Recordings camp for a journey through sound across their brand new link up project, the 'Chrysalis' EP. The title track is a 4x4 roller, packed with dubby energy and unpredictable drum switches, leading into some incredible processing work as the twisted rhythms of 'Truncated Kicks' take a hold. Next, the journey takes another interesting weave as the rolling kick leads and chirpy high end percussive patterns of 'Reformation' leap into life, before we finish up with a splash on 'Pheromone'.

Review: Dubdiggerz make a heavyweight return here as they get down and dirty on a very weighty two track project, courtesy of the uber impressive Trusik Records. We begin the rage out with the darkened swampy percussive adventures of 'Bogu', which drives through gritty subs, crunchy snaps and vibrant atmospherics. On the flip side, 'Dark Dawn' leaps forward, a composition composed almost entirely of subweight energies, marching forward over tribal 4x4 drum beats and lethal sub pressure!

Review: The Trusik label have started their campaign on the right foot, and are standing out among the bass crowd thanks to their first few releases being so aggressively on-point. The first EP featured Tony Williams aka Addison Groove under his much sough-after Headhunter moniker, and this new two-tracker by Ruffcut casual Tremble isn't exactly any less enticing. "Too Much Terror" is a driving, head-strong bass roller with a punchy beat swing and some nod-friendly bass stabs; "Bwoy", on the flip, uses a dubwise sample touch to guide its wonderfully swamped beats and sonics into hyperdrive. Check that B-side - oh my.
