Review: Caveman adopts a take no prisoners approach on this release. Focusing on high-paced techno from the outset, he drops tough beats, dramatic chord builds and firing percussion on the title track, while "Relax" utilises a similar approach. There, the drums are softer, but the stabs more abrasive as they lead the listener to a dizzying climax. "Tribal Storm" is hardly subdued, but it revolves around a more percussive peak-time sound. "Expand" meanwhile, is based on a similar premise - strip away any of the musical elements and put steely, driving drums and relentless hi hats centre stage. It may not be subtle, but it's certainly effective.
