Review: For the uninitiated (i.e those outside of "That London"), Jacob Husley is resident and co-director at WetYourSelf, a weekly Sunday night session at Fabric. In his spare time, he's also a producer on the rise. This latest EP showcases his current sound, a bassy, late night blend of Hypercolour-ish house, big room techno and European wonkiness. There's much to enjoy, from the robotic handclaps and low-end wobble of "Le Cote Obscur" and hip-wiggling 4am groovery of "Close Your Eyes", to the melodic, off-kilter deepness of "Here Today, Gone Tomorrow". Closer "Realise", with its hazy groove and off-key chords, is probably the highlight.
