Review: The joyous sounds of French touch-era house are revisited by this Gallic producer, resulting in a stonking party starter of an EP. The title track, "Shake It Up Tonight", takes a funked up disco loop, piles on the compression and fiddles with the filters taking us back to Respect Is Burning nightclub circa 1998. "Love Is The Message" also leans towards to the 90s, but much more in an acid jazz direction, with it's light breakbeat, funk bass and soulful keys bringing to mind the likes of the Brand New Heavies.
