Review: As summer rapidly approaches, the eyes and ears of the UK start to gesture towards a more laid back, UKG set of vibes. For this one Eddie Craig and FooR team up for a garage-breakbeat fusion by the name of 'Premonition'. It has all the makings of an instant classic, from the the emotive chord patterns and crunchy drum arrangements to the encapsulating lead vocal performance. This one comes complete with a selection of remixes with SBS & Proper Tingz taking it down a darker route, Selekio reworking it for the big room environment and Eddie Craig himself bringing forward a complete garage overhaul.
Review: YosH founders Foor are back on their own imprint with a one-track bombshell that's come through just in time for the final part of the festival season, and believe us when we say that this little banger is the finest solution for providing you with some proper vintage club vibes! "3 Words" is led by Effie's seductive vocal charm, which is surely the perfect way to direct what is one of the most addictive garage grooves that you'll hear all summer. Review: If FooR were to put together a studio album, where else could it be other than their legendary home imprint of YosH. As an album 'Friends Of FooR' is a collection of high profile collaborations from the bass house giants, including both production features and high energy vocal additions. Review: FooR celebrate four years in the business. They are are a UK collective of producers, musicians, DJs, and MCs at the forefront of the current UK Garage revival. The four-piece have also become UK garage's fastest rising stars on the live circuit, and are being championed by some of the scene's biggest names 'Friends Of FooR' was their first commercially available mixtape, following 2017's Pure Garage mix album. Hailing from Southampton and fronted by Gavin Foord, Aki, MC Jukie and Tyrone - they have all been friends for 15 years - literally since they were kids. Once they hit their teens they started making music together and then throwing parties, first locally, and then across the south coast.
Review: After the explosive response to their 'Yosh Pit' last week, the almighty powerhouse that is FooR return, steamrolling through releases with this latest monster alongside Killa P and Irah. The vocal company get absolutely crazy on this one as they lay down fearsome patois verses, including a classic chorus from the pair. These vocals sit perfectly on top of sharp 4x4 production by the guys at FooR, complete with electrifying leads and punchy drum designs.
Review: What a year it has been for FooR, who are set to blow the world of British bass music into the stratosphere here as they unveil their monumental 'FooR Years' project, jam packed with goodies from start to finish. We kick off this one with the euphoric piano melodies and and violent bass throws of 'Take It Higher', before wading into the dark, mystic basslines and nostalgic vocal layers of 'In My Soul'. Next, we explore 'Over & Over', an incredibly vibey roller alongside Gid Sedgwick, before rounding up with the electroshocker synth leads and drum punch combos of 'I Will Wait'. There really appears to be no slowing the FooR rampage any time soon.
Review: Foor are sick. There's three words. Foor know soul. There's another three words. In fact there are so many possible three word combinations you could create about Foor that scientists reckon you would be here until 2039 if you wrote them. We haven't got that type of time though so we'll just say these three words: this record bangs.
