Belgium's busy Pelican Fly label has been dropping bombs of all shapes and sizes over the last five or so years, and they show no sign of stopping or slowing down if this new scorcher by 1180 is anything to go by. While his previous - and debut - release for the label was a harsh, aggressive shade of trance, this new single "Lick It" verges onto the juke end of the bass spectrum. With a fluttering vocal with the vocal "work it"on repeat, 1180 launches a fiery, stuttering groove boasting a stop-start flex that is bound to cause some serious uproar in the dancehall - just wait for that bass to drop, son!
