Time Is Now appear to have pulled an absolute gem out of the ground with his one as they welcome DJ Crisps inside for four grizzly garage originals, kicking off with the flawless sub pushes and catchy yet surprisingly minimal percussive persuasions of the title track 'Diamonds', setting the mood perfectly. Next, we feel the rhythms switch up significantly on 'Knock It Down', a moody yet groovy sub-rustling shuffler, followed closely by the pulsating 808 kick slaps of 'Lyrical'. Finally, we are greeted by a more nostalgia-ridden number in 'No Worries', packed with old school organ chord progressions and sharpened drum sections to really push home that original 2-step feeling.
