The aptly named U Wot Blud label storms through our Juno bass charts this week, with the return of badboy 94 Bliss and his bumpy, teched-out approach to garage. The first bit of skanking, "Hype Skank", is a fast-paced shuffle monster with a big bass end and a nice bit of mutant wobble, while "Punjabi Skank" is leaner and tougher on the beats and claps. "Minor Skank", on the other hand, is more of a classic house pumper with subtle UK flavours, and "Nonsense Skank" takes us back to the late 1990's, and the to the likes of So Solid Crew, Oxid & Netrino, and the rest of that mandem.
