After a series of EPs on Planet 303, Acid Synthesis drops his debut album. While there is potential for an album full of 303 jams to be repetitive and samey, this is not the case on Visions. In fact, the opposite is true. "Hidden Visions" and "Repetitions" both have an early 90s ambient techno flavour, with an acid line running through Irresistible Force-style soundscapes. In contrast, "Cosmic Depths" ventures into deep techno territory, its ethereal groove similar in tone to Convextion. "Callous Signals" offers a more menacing take on acid. Centred on a stripped back rhythm, its 303s build and build seductively. Trance also makes an appearance on the tripped out "303 Sunrises", which has the same energy and character as vintage Eye Q. "Visa (Ambient Mix)" brings this exemplary album to a close through the lens of an ethereal soundscape.
