Actual Phantom - disappointingly not an actual phantom (we checked) - makes the sort of bootleg breaks mash-ups that come with a mile-wide grin and basslines that could fell a herd of cows at 50 paces. There's little subtle about either of the tracks here, but both will send breaks dancefloors - not usually known for their love of the intricacies of electronic music - into arm-waving raptures. "I Need Your Lovin" cheekily uses vocal samples from a familiar old MOR classic ("Everybody Needs Somebody Sometimes"). The fact that it works is a thrilling surprise. "You Don't Love Me", meanwhile, is a skanking assault on the head, hips and feet.Get new release alerts
