Review
Electro-swing may have peaked in popularity a few years ago now, but as with any genre there's still a diehard fanbase out there, and they'll be more than satisfied with this three-tracker from French producer Alan De Laniere. Coming on MCT Luxury, an off-shoot of his My Crazy Thing label, across the three tracks (two vocal, one instrumental) parping trumpets, soaring saxophones and authentic-sounding, presumably sampled vox capture that 1920s Cotton Club vibe while rock-solid 4/4s pound away underneath. And, as often happens, it all sounds a lot fresher again now that we're not drowning in 200 very similar releases a week!Get new release alerts
