The term 'liquid gold' has been many things, including the name of a '70s disco act and a type of head-rushing party poppers. Now, it's also an album by funky hip-hop and Afro-Cuban US artist AfroQBen (see what he did there?). The album actually came out last year and now Timewarp have decided that it deserves the remix treatment. The reggae, funk, Latin and soul vibes of the original are tweaked in a number of interesting ways, in particular the electro/reggaeton hybrid of Qdup Foundation's mix, Father Funk's electro-boogie-isms and Drumspyder's Bollywood beats.Get new release alerts
