With a career that dates back to the early 80s, Alexander Robotnick isn't so much a master of synth-heavy electronic disco as one of the inventors of the style. As such, expectations for his latest long-playing opus will be high, but suffice to say this is a set that will delight his many fans and possibly earn him some more. It's equally true to say that there are no real surprises or curveballs on offer - from dreamy opener 'And Here It Comes Again' to the Gallic-inspired retro futurism of 'Le Carillon' via aptly-named synth workout 'Intergalactic Travel', the cosmic 'Arpico' and the bassy throb of 'The World Is Dark', this is Robotnick doing what he does best. But if it ain't broke, etc...
