Review

It's a very tidy selection once again from Breakbeats & Basslines as they welcome the sound of Amalgamate inside for four tracks of sizzling D&B brilliance. We begin with 'Destroy Humans' alongside Markka, which combines a selection of neurotic reesy manoeuvres and colourful percussive plucks above a groovy set of arpeggiators to kick us off in style. Next, the pressure is amped up significantly as the techy brilliance and electrifying bass leads of 'Rave Analysis' are brought to the forefront with instant impact, before Grimms arrives with some intricate, almost poetic lyricism over the blistering bass processing of 'Karma'. To round the project off, Wrekka is on hand to supply 'Karma' with a more roller-driven refurbishment, taking the arrangement to somewhere completely different and providing a nice finale for the project as a whole.
