For this release, Kentucky-based Amtrac (AKA sometime Toolroom and W&O Street Tracks producer Coleb Cornett) has called on the services of a duo of heavy-hitting remixers to rework previous single "Some of Them". Amtrac himself delivers the "Dusty Mix" - think acid-flecked bumpin' house with sparkling Balearic flourishes - while French veteran Lifelike turns "Some of Them" into a new-wave influenced chunk of synth-heavy nu-disco/peak-time house fusion. Best of all, though, is the Tiger & Woods remix. It sees the Italian duo pepper a killer, densely layered disco-drum track with rich house bass and delay-laden vocal cut-ups. Heavy, sweaty and intoxicating, it's an impressively percussive peak-time workout.Get new release alerts
