With releases on Cadenza and Objektivity, Andrea Oliva is following in the footsteps of that other Swiss techno sensation, Luciano - and Repeater is sure to only enhance his reputation. It starts with the rolling groove and buzzing bass riff of "The Repeater". Featuring effective snare rolls powering on these elements, it's one of the most effective tribal techno grooves of 2019. "Jam Table" isn't as full-on, but its wiry groove and razor-sharp claps, coupled with a detuned, looped riff make it just as effective. Label regular Oscar L ups the intensity levels on his version of "The Repeater", toughening up the drums and percussion, while Marco Faraone's take on "Jam Table" is a dubbed out affair.
