For their seventh official release, we are very excited to dive into this one from the Bassin crew as they welcome Beatsforbeaches inside for a solid four track display in dubwise energy. Kicking off with 'Powerful Thing', we are greeted by a darkened, dungeon-esc vibe, as shimmering chord line and sharp snare crunches lay atop a sub-heavy landscape, before 'Erebus' combines intricate drum rhythms with a constantly shifting collection of synthy scrapes with devilish results. Next, 'Kabal' gives us more underworld melodies and gnarly instrumentation to really hammer home that evil vibe, before rounding off with 'HO', a more quirky combination of bubbling percussion and stuttered vocal sampling, giving the EP a perfect sign off point.
