Experimentalist by drum and bass persuasion Bennie enters the nether regions of contemporary rave core with the No Better EP. Flanked by Jam Thieves and Bookey, the former keeps it inside with a liquid-esque jungle rhythm amid industrial sound design and fractions of twisted hip hop ("Gyaldem Sugar"). The latter, (Bookey), turns in a melodic and horn-blessed ephemeral banger next to Beanie's own "VVS DIamonds" that sees euphoric crescendos fall into melodically constructed drum and bass workouts. With two EJ Kitto collaborations in-tow all the more - "Toffee" and "No Better" see both artists push at the limits of EDM, experimentalism and cut up drum and bass.
