There's a gorgeous sense of funk prevailing throughout Blackleg's "Reality". This is down, largely, to the undulating waves of obese sub bass that lick and lollop dynamically while stark synth strikes conjure a cosmic lead melody. Elsewhere we get hammered by pneumatic drill kicks on "Space Jockeys" and get all scratchy and paranoid on the syncopated bass burps of "Blackline." Remix-wise Kial takes "Reality" into a much more techy domain while Promise One gives "Space Jockeys" a twisted dark garage facelift with thick, treacl-like shuffling beats.
