This pair of Brazilian producers first impressed with their 2010 "Balaka" 12" on Cecille Numbers. Here they pop up on Raw Cutz with a tipsy selection of gently undulating grooves and bright-eyed deep house sparklers. With six tracks to choose from (including decent remixes from Dubshape and David Ponziano), there's plenty to admire - not least the emotion-rich, tear-jerking throb of lead cut "Need U". Check, too, the touchy-feely late night sunshine of "Gotta Keep On" and bass-laden old skool pulse of "Bump" - especially since the latter impressively twists a sample from "Pull Up To The Bumper" into a haunting late night groove.Get new release alerts
