Germany-based Romanian producer Borrowed Identity has been picking up plaudits of late for his icy and evocative take on deep house. Following releases on Traveller Records and Stripped & Chewed, the 22 year-old has upped sticks and signed with Legendary Sound Research. As an EP, Je T'aime is full of touchy-feely delights, from the cosmic sweep of the early Simoncino-ish "Connection" and old skool deep house blast of "1989 (Summer of Love)", to the '90s deep garage revivalism of "Je T'Aime".
